Jo-Chan LIN

Royal Degree
Ms. Jo is a Suzuki Association of Americas accredited teacher and a professional cellist that has performed in major music festivals and events worldwide.
Principal Cellist of Tbilisi State Chamber Orchestra, Ms. Jo was invited to perform as a soloist for 2nd European Games Torch Lighting Ceremony in May 2019. She started her musical journey with piano, violin, and cello. After completing her diploma in cello performance, she moved to Italy and graduated from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory with the highest honors. She later obtained the Royal Degree of Chamber Music from the National Academy of Santa Cecilia.
Ms. Jo participated in numerous masterclasses, international music festivals, and performances as a soloist and chamber musician, and won numerous awards in international competitions. She was also the principal cello teacher of Rome International School in Italy.
In 2021 she wrote her own cello method book “Jo-Chan Cello Method” for young beginner cello players.

Kate MORAN

Ms. Kate is a strings specialist with over 20 years of experience teaching violin and viola in UK.
She is a highly skilled violin and viola teacher with expertise in the Suzuki Method, specializing in teaching young students how to play the violin and viola with ease and joy.
Ms. Kate brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her instruction. With extensive experience teaching children in primary and high schools in UK, she is committed to helping students of all levels achieve their full potential.
She was also an experienced strings orchestra conductor of Manchester Youth String Orchestra, signposting and supporting youth people to access national orchestral opportunities.
Ms. Kate has held the Dalcroze Teaching Certificate. She was an Aural (Kodaly/solfa) tutor. She believes that learning an instrument should be a fun and interactive experience. She is passionate about teaching students the art of playing the violin.

Vivian SHEN
Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts
Master Degree
Ms. Vivian is a seasoned violinist and Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA) accredited teacher.
Ms. Vivian's violin journey began with the Suzuki method at the age of 5.
She furthered her studies at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where she received full scholarship, under Prof. Michael Ma and graduated with First Class Honours in both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
Currently, Ms. Vivian is also violinist in the Nova Ensemble and a freelancer in the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.
Ms. Vivian is also an experienced chamber musician who has performed in orchestras around the world including Aspen and Montréal. In addition to participating in a number of masterclasses, international music festivals, and performances, she had also played with renowned conductors such as Robert Spano, Ludovic Morlot, Hugh Wolff, James Gaffigan, Miguel Harth-Bedoya, and Vasily Petrenko.

Queena CHU

Master of Arts in Piano Performance
Ms. Queena Chu graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, London with her Master's Degree with Distinction.
She has recently performed as a soloist at the Tsuen Wan Town Hall in Hong Kong and St Michael's Church, Sittingbourne in the UK. Her recent recordings are now available on YouTube.
She studied with British pianist Professor Colin Stone. Queena also has received the Royal Academy of Music Licentiate in Piano Teaching and has a few years of teaching experience.
Ms. Queena graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with BMus(Hons) degree in 2020 and studied with pianist Hui Ling.
She has been performing both solo and chamber concerts since the age of four, across the globe in venues such as the Boston Walnut Hill School for the Art, Westminster Music Library in London, the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong City Hall, etc.

She was in the Junior music programme at the HKAPA from the age of six and participated in competitions with awards at a young age. Her recent success was at the 20th Hong Kong-Asia Piano Open Competition, Open Class, with First Class Award, 5th Prize Winner etc.
